I wish to start with a curious observation-having been a specialist in diabetes for over 15 years, I have seen very little progress in the field of diabetic prevention and even fewer people who have reversed diabetes. All treatment are aimed at fixing diabetes and not curing it per se. In the last few years, I have seen growing evidence in the field of low carb diets for obesity & diabetes prevention. I vehemently support LCHF diets as they get to the root cause of the explosion in diabesity-rapid rise in intake of processed/refined carbs and sugars.
I was on the lookout for a site which explains LCHF and gives out diet plans for the Indian diaspora and DLife is a treasure trove of info for all things low-carb. I would be happy to recommend it to all my patients.
