Members on dLife.in are six to nine years ahead of American Diabetes Association when it comes to adopting Low Carb High Fat (LCHF / Ketogenic ) diet for managing diabetes, PCOS, weight loss, non-alcoholic fatty liver, hypertension and host of other hyperinsulinemia linked health issues.
It is only in 2019 that ADA has reluctantly started accepting Low Carb as an option to treat diabetes and leaves it to the patient to insist rather than doctors to enforce. So, still a half hearted attempt.
We boast of 200+ Indian success stories documented on the platform. The successful journey has been on the back of just one idea — to be different and not just rehash. 1200+ Indian LCHF recipes are just a part of that desire and has been making Low Carb easy for Indians — something that was considered tough. None of us were happy with just being “yet another forum”.
The inherent desire of not to be just a face in the crowd, kept us busy with adding custom features to the community. Many of the features have no parallel on any diabetes community site and that’s when we started calling ourselves as a “platform of by and for Indians“. The timeline at the end of this piece summarily depicts our journey that started on 21st August 2014, with just a forum. As already underlined, we are a community of, by, and for Indians, with the never-ending fire & desire of “Yeh Dil Mange More“.
Taking a step, or shall we say a giant leap, forward we are formally moving into elearning. Major Focus on Diploma and Certificate courses on Low Carb Nutrition in India to begin with, and few other courses down the line. More on this on e-learning section of the platform.

Also, any community cannot stand on its legs without the participation of benevolent members and the selfless dedication of moderators. So, together they have kept the platform growing and active. We can proudly claim — We have no parallel in India. And, with the launch of e-learning platform, not many to compare with on a global scale. We have set the benchmark for any new platform in the same space. What Next?
Dreams never end. At the right time concepts take the form of an implementable package. We have two more giant leaps ahead. We shall announce them when the time comes.
However, back from holidays, we begin 2020 with wishes for a happy & healthy new year, and this announcement — with the integration of the e-Learning platform we will now be offering a course with an internship in our community.
