Srishti’s Success story: https://www.dlife.in/dlife-indian-lchf-keto-diet-success-stories/indian-type-1-diabetes-lchf-diet-success-story-srishti/
Sirisha, mother of Srishti, did her Btech, PGD in patent Laws, and worked in a legal firm. She recently got certified as a diabetes educator. She also finished her applied online nutrition course in NFNA education. Pursuing a diploma in nutrition and Dietetics soon.
After her daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), she started to read about T1D as much as she could, first to understand the insulin dosing and calculations part, later about nutrition. She has been searching for all evidence to understand the reason for existing guidelines and has been updating her knowledge with the latest researches.
She realized that T1D outcomes have been worsening despite technology, obesity has been rising among T1. There is a serious need to reconsider the guidelines, both glycemic and nutrition guidelines. The nutrition should be able to support the people living with Type 1 diabetes to achieve their glycemic targets. Overall T1s need better diabetes education. Her motto primarily is to extend diabetes education to whoever is in need and provide resources to those who are interested in the low-carb way of managing diabetes.
